Overview

The Life Church Is A Growing Organization Serving A Diverse Community In Richmond, Virginia. We Are Hiring A Guest Services Coordinator To Join Our Team. The Guest Services Coordinator Is Responsible For Ensuring Every Person Who Attends Our Church Has A Remarkable Guest Experience.

This Is Accomplished By Specifically Overseeing Any Area That Stewards Our Guests Well On Campus, Including: First-Time Guests, Volunteer Connection, And Creating An Atmosphere Of Expectation For The Services And Activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Cast Vision For Excellence In Guest Services With An Emphasis On Welcoming, Informing, And Serving Each Guest.

  • Oversee The Total Guest Experience On Sunday Mornings And During Certain Special Events.

  • Cast Vision And Lead Guest Services Volunteers.

  • Create A Guest Service Culture By Recruiting, Training, And Developing Volunteers.

  • Establish And Implement Quality Standards For All Guest Service Volunteers. And Create A Volunteer Culture With A Set Of Behaviors, Terms, And Values To Ensure The Optimal Guest Experience.

  • Oversee Volunteer Teams Including: First Time Visitors, First Impressions, Campus Safety, Operations, And Parking.

  • Ensure Consistency In All Systems And Procedures Each Sunday.

  • Develop And Maintain A Recruitment Plan And Training Strategy For New Volunteers. • Schedule Regular Times Of Training And Vision Casting For All Volunteers.

  • Recruit And Develop Guest Services Volunteers For Leadership Roles.

  • Ability To Serve On And Administrate Various Other Teams As Needed I.e., Big Event Days, Special Classes, Etc.

  • Establish And Maintain Relationships With Local And State Authorities Who Assist With Traffic And Security Measures.

  • Supervise Police Officers And Monitor Sunday Traffic Flow.

  • Coordinate Signage, Parking And Volunteers For Special Events.

    Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage Day To Day Operations For Building Logistics

  • Oversee Event Set Up And Breakdown

  • Develop And Maintain Communication With Other Ministry Team Directors To Ensure A Seamless Experience For Our Guests.

  • Update Job Knowledge By Participating In Educational Opportunities; Reading Professional Publications; Maintaining Personal Networks; And Participating In Professional Organizations.


    Qualifications

  • 3+ Years Of Experience In Working Closely With And Leading People

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills With An Emphasis On Direct Guest And Volunteer Interaction And Leading Staff

  • Teachable Spirit, Team-Work Mindset And Loyalty Are All Key

  • High-Level Networking/Relational Strengths

  • Ability To Make Sound, Critical Decisions Under Pressure

  • A Team Player With Excellent Communication Skills

  • Analytical Thinking And Problem-Solving Capability
