Groups Coordinator

The Life Church is dedicated to fostering life-changing connections with Jesus Christ by creating healthy group communities for spiritual growth, relationship building, and discipleship development. The Groups Coordinator plays a pivotal role in leading and supporting various groups, including Men, Women, Singles, Marriage, College, Life Groups, and Community Groups. This role ensures that each group thrives in its purpose of inspiring connection, growth, and service within the church community.


Applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Richmond, Virginia area to fulfill the responsibilities of this role effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Group Leadership: Oversee and support leaders of Men, Women, Singles, Marriage, College, Life, and Community Groups. Provide resources, training, and tools to facilitate Christ-centered gatherings.

  • Community Building: Promote healthy relationships, discipleship, and spiritual growth. Coordinate prayer and care support across groups, fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment.

  • Planning and Organization: Develop schedules for group meetings, ensuring alignment with church goals. Plan and execute regular leader training and check-ins.

  • Communication and Reporting: Act as the main point of contact for group leaders and members, ensuring clear communication and addressing concerns or conflicts.

  • Spiritual Growth and Care: Encourage group leaders to facilitate scripturally grounded discussions and promote prayer, service, and outreach.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated commitment to Christian principles and discipleship.

  • Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to oversee diverse groups and foster engagement.

  • Familiarity with The Life Church’s vision and mission for community engagement and spiritual development.

  • Applicants must reside in the Richmond, Virginia area or be willing to relocate.
